This report examines how the rising burden of documentation is straining the UK healthcare system, and how clinicians and patients view the role of AI in easing that load.

We surveyed 5,000 patients and 1,000 clinicians across Germany, UK, France, Spain, and Sweden to understand how administrative pressure and burnout shape healthcare today, and how AI is emerging as a path toward relief.

Capio Ramsay Santé studied 375,000 Tandem generated notes from 1,295 clinicians across care levels. Results show 29 percent less documentation time, 93 second median editing, lower admin stress, better patient presence, and strong clinician retention.
