Tandem Health has acquired Juvoly, the Netherlands’ leading AI medical scribe, in Europe’s first acquisition of an AI scribe company focused on clinical workflows.
The acquisition brings together two teams building clinician-first AI documentation designed for real healthcare environments. Juvoly’s established presence in Dutch primary care combines with Tandem’s experience scaling regulated medical software across Europe.
Together, Tandem Health and Juvoly aim to reduce administrative burden for clinicians, support regulatory-ready AI documentation, and expand trusted clinical AI tools across European healthcare systems.
This acquisition reflects a broader shift in how clinical AI is evaluated in Europe.

In three years, Juvoly emerged as the Netherlands’ largest healthcare speech technology provider. The platform now supports more than 1,500 GP practices—representing 35% of all Dutch primary care clinics—as well as leading hospitals and municipalities, processing over 200,000 consultations each month.
